Corine during workshop I
Last Saturday it was time for a workshop Studio Technique 1 with Model : Corine.
In this blogpost some of the images I shot during the workshop.
Without a doubt my favorite workshop is Advanced II.
In this workshop it’s all about “looks” “coaching” “themes” and of course “creativity”.
In all the other workshops there is a lot of focus on technique, theory and of course all the other things that make a photoshoot successful, however in Advanced II in fact it IS a photoshoot.
During the glamour workshops it’s always a question what I will do.
Together with the Advanced workshops these are the workshops were I love to experiment, freak and sometimes do things I never did before. Add to this a great model like Nirmala and you know it’s “party” time….. In this blog post some of the images and some of the techniques discussed.
Friday it was time for the small flash workshop with Nadine as my model.
During the small flash workshop the main thing I teach the students is how to work with both E-TTL and full manual mode. The thing I focus up at the start of the workshop is that E-TTL can be easily “fooled” or in other words is not perfect. By explaining this and also explaining how to solve it (and throwing in manual mode with a light-meter) the students are beginning to recognize the problems in a scene and most importantly learn how to counteract the problems.
The fun thing is that you will see that after the first setup most students already pick this up with the next setup.
And to be honest it’s not difficult, but you have to see it to understand it 🙂
