Ibanez Prestige 1570 with irongear pups

In todays episode it’s not about photography.
During this whole crisis we’ve decided to also sometimes upload a bit more about other things….. like guitars.

In todays episode we take an awesome Ibanez Prestige 1570 and replace the pickups for relatively very cheap IronGear pickups.

The only difference, they are not cheap because they are bad, they are manufactured by a small company and sold directly mostly, meaning a very low price when compared to the “big” brands.

Now of course this is not a Dimarzio or Seymour Duncan vs Irongear, but how much difference does it make in a not so bad Ibanez Prestige, which let’s be honest is not a cheap or step in guitar, in fact it’s a pretty high-end guitar.

Imagine what happens when you put these in a Squier or other cheaper end guitar……..

Introductie van de Tether Tools Air Direct

In deze video laat ik je de Tether Tools Air Direct zien; draadloos fotograferen met (bijna) elke camera. Ik begin met een introductie wat tethered fotograferen is. En leg je de voor een nadelen uit van draadloos schieten.

Bijzonder is dat de Air Direct werkt met je eigen software, zoals Capture One, Lightroom en meer. Ik vertel je hoe je je camera het beste kan instellen voor draadloos fotograferen en hoe je de Air Diret makkelijk aan je camera monteert met de optionele AD-Arca mount.

Na een uitleg over de meegeleverde accessoires vertel ik je hoe je switch tussen 2,4 en 5 Ghz en tussen computer/mac (met de ADU app) of mobiel (voor je tablet of smartphone)

Mijn Sony camera kan al draadloos schieten, maar toch is de Air Direct een veel beter alternatief.

Introducing the Tether Tools Air Direct (AD7)

In this video, I’ll talk about the Tether Tools Air Direct; wireless shooting for all cameras (who can shoot tethered with a cable).

I’ll explain what tethering is. Normally I use a cable and a TetherBlock, but now wireless is a great alternative, even in comparison to the built-in wireless from my Sony camera. I’ll tell you why I choose for the Air Direct, the speed and how to set up your camera for shooting wireless. But also show you how you can switch between 2.4 and 5 GHz on the Air Direct, and how to switch from shooting to computer/macOS (with the ADU app) or mobile. Unfortunately, the mobile app has no support for Sony yet.

Further, what’s in the box and I talk about the included dedicated battery, so no draining you camera battery. Optional is the Air DIrect Arca Mount, a must-have if you use a trigger and you want to mount your Air Direct to your camera.

The Air Direct is available at your local camera store, or online.
