The brand new and budget friendly Hensel Certro strobe system.

An awesome high-end new strobe for a very friendly price, making the Hensel quality available for everyone.

In this review I take you through the whole system.
We talk about the strobe itself, the new trigger, the modifiers and what’s in the box.

But it doesn’t stop there.
I also test :
Flash duration, Color uniformity, exposure consistancy and a lot more.

The Certo 400 surpised me, I’m sure it will also surprise you.

Hensel Certo 400 in our studio

Today the first time in our studio…
the brand new and awesome new strobes from #hensel #hensellighting the #certo400

An amazing new strobe that is very affordable and the perfect start for photographers that want absolute quality and the possibility to grow into the Hensel ecosystem… and trust me this is a really cool unit.

I’ve known about this strobe for a few months now and I’m totally psyched to now have them in our studio, and after only one day I can already tell you…. this is going to be a bestseller…. I’m very picky (especially with the more budget friendly strobes) but Hensel really nailed it…. it’s the Hensel quality for a starters price.

Here are some images we shot today with Lois during the workshop.
And the cool thing…. they are awesome for freezing motion (and Lois really turns fast). This is something that I really wanted to test because most strobes in this price range can’t freeze motion nicely, there’s always a slight smearing, the Certo did it great. You can totally use these as allround strobes.

Did I already mention I’m really excited about this 😀

 

Guitar project Part II from standard to Batman

In todays episode you can see the progress Roelina made on my Squier that will be transformed to a “Batman” themed guitar.

We did leave a lot of the hardware on for the simple reason that although the wood looks ok I did notice that the bridge connections inside were stable but not that stable that I would like to remove it unless absolutely necessary. So after discussing it with Roelina we left it in.

Headstock little bit of the same story.
This Squier plays like a dream and sings with the EMG pickups but we didn’t want to take any risk.

What if the case air doesn’t charge anymore DC

The case air from tethertools is an amazing tethering solution, but even the best devices sometimes have a glitch, it doesn’t happen a lot with the case air but when it does there is no need to freak out, you can solve most issues pretty easily by just resetting the device.

In this video I show you how to do it and give you a tip on how to possibly prevent this.
