20 years

It’s July 7th 2017

Exactly 20 years after July 7th 1997.

The day Annewiek and I got married.
Everyone that knows us also knows that if you hire Frank, Annewiek always accompanies him. Many couples would hate to work so much together but somehow we love it and wouldn’t want it any other way.
So up to the next 20. And with a soulmate that’s pretty easy 🙂

The color red and a Photoshoot with Singer Bram BTCD July 6th 2017

Photoshop Layers, blending and masks explained

One of the things a lot of people struggle with when they start using Photoshop is layers….. and in all honesty it shouldn’t really be a problem or something you have to struggle with.

In this video I discuss what a layer is, how you can blend them together, how you can mask layers and more…..

As always, if you have any questions leave them below.

Tip about faces

One of the things I always tell people during workshops is that it’s important to have catchlights in the eyes. But as always….. there are exceptions.
In fact.

Sometimes it’s not even necessary to show the face in the shot. In fact it can really enhance the mood or story.
So experiment not only with models looking into the camera but also try something a bit more moody.
Feel free to show your images here.
