Frank: Physical therapy for that knee might be tough, but you have to do it to be 100%. Might put some Heineken on it in between sessions. 🙂
I don’t really like Heineken by the way, would rather have a white beer 😀

really nice shots Frank,im new to slr/dslr photography and i use a 7D canon and im saving to get a lens for street photography, what would you say is a good choice in your opinion? thanks, i love all your work. Mike from sydney Australia.
Difficult to say, I love my Minolta 35-200 but never found a Canon alternative that was pinsharp and had good focus speed.
So I would say something like the 24-105/135.
I would go for as much reach as possible.
Some people will say primes but I always find them limiting on the street, they do give better image quality when viewed 1:1 on the monitor but… I rather get the shot the way I want it then talk about a few percent more sharpness.

Thank you Frank and I agree with a little less sharpness and getting a great shot is much more important.cheers for the advice.

On the knee ?
