Marie fashion workshop day 2
Welcome to my selection from the second day from the 1:1 workshop.
In the previous post you have seen the images from Nirmala. Today it’s time for Marie.
This Monday and Tuesday we had a Polish guest in our studio for a 1:1 workshop.
These are often the most fun to teach because during the workshops there is a lot of flexibility, I always try to tailor the workshops to the needs of my students and teach them what they want to learn, this not only means that the students have fun, but our models and me too. Doing different light setups totally aimed towards the end result that the student wants often guarantees nice results. Add to this two amazing models Nirmala and Marie and you can imagine why I was looking forward to these to days. In this blog post you can see the results from Nirmala.
Last Friday Lisanne visited our studio to be the model for the glamour workshop.
I normally don’t shoot images that are not safe for work but Lisanne wanted a shot with a blue necklace which I intended to be never put online, however seeing the outcome I just loved it so much I needed to share it with you guys, do remember however that it’s a not safe for work image, so if you’re offended by this kind of glamour don’t click through 😀
A few years ago I never wanted to work with an intern, I thought I would work faster without one. However the appeal of having someone that could help me out with the work that was eating away time from the creative stuff also called out to me, so finally I decided it was maybe time to start using interns.
In our studio I will invite one intern for a period of 20-30 weeks and they will be my assistant for that period, meaning they will help out with photoshoots, workshops etc. but also do the basic video editing and some more routine Photoshop work, this week we had a special intern, a one day “snuffel stage”. Because of this I decided it would be fun to invite a new model over and make a creative day in the studio were we could play a bit with styling and concepts and just have some fun. The following images are the result of that day.
