New images Sylvia
Today it’s time to introduce you to our new model “Sylvia”
last weekend was her first workshop for me, but I think we will see her more often.
My blog, although I don’t see myself as a blogger but as a Photographer I will try to blog some interesting material during the weeks.
Expect at least 2 updates a week.
You’ve asked for it… so you get it.
People have asked us time over time to show more video content, everything would be great…. well in the past I already started a small (never publicized) YouTube channel where I uploaded the material I shot and edited with my iPhone during shoots and travel. During the trip for the SWPP I picked up that channel again for a sort of video diary.
Now let’s make one thing clear….
This channel is JUST iPhone shot material, it’s shot with my iPhone, it’s edited on my iPhone, the music is from my iPhone.
So don’t expect great edited instructional videos, it’s just some fun and video diary like videos. But I think they are fun to share, so maybe you also enjoy them 😀
The channel can be found at www.youtube.com/studiofdbs
Our real YouTube channel is www.youtube.com/frankdoorhof
Enjoy 😀
Because we travel with a lot of gear and clothing for the workshops/demos in the UK we always travel by boat, this way we can bring our own car and trust me I’ve been called the Dutch Tetris master for the simple reason that I always seem to find a spot where something WILL fit…. and if it doesn’t….. well there is no if it doesn’t…. you know what I mean 😀
Now during the busy periods in the summer the boats are always rather full but during the winter period it’s often very quiet, and with only 65 passengers on the boat they really look like a ghostship sometimes, but I also blame the less heavy ships for the seasickness I get during these trips, somehow I don’t feel seasick when the boat is fully loaded. So what we do during the 5-6 hours on board… well internet s@ucks, it’s very very slow (read unusable) it takes 20 minutes to send a what’s app, by that time it actually is a what was up. And retouching for the full time is also a bit uncomfortable…… but hey… we have a model with us.
So yeah you guessed it Nadine and I went out on the deck and did this very quick impromptu not prepared photoshoot, just having a bit of fun. All natural light shot with the Sony A7r. And of course edited on the boat. Loads of different looks also, just experimenting a bit with colors.
