Chewie loves our new ClickBackdrops studio backgrounds

For portraits the Clicki works like a charm, but sometimes you need a little bit more space. So we also now have the Clicki available in a full 2×2 meters, which also makes it a great option to build a small set for newborns or pets where you use the Clicki both as a background as floor, as you can see in the following samples.

Removing ghost Google Wifi devices from Google home

Google home is a great system if you want an easy way to automate your home and connect everything together. Also the Google home app is easy to use and supports a lot of automations and devices are almost added automatically. So when it all works so easy you might expect that if you have to replace a defective Wifi unit it’s super easy to remove that device…..you probably already guessed it, it’s not.

I tried almost everything (except of course delete the home and rebuild everything) but whatever I tried there was no way to remove the old device. At one point I just gave up and accepted that the ghost of my defective Wifi device would haunt me forever.

The Scott Kelby Worldwide PhotoWalk 2024 on Urk

Once a year it’s time for the worldwide Photowalk, a great idea from Scott Kelby.
When possible I’m also hosting a walk, and after Kampen, Urk, and several times Amsterdam it was time for Urk.
The reason is simple, it’s a great place for photography with people that have loads of stories and are very friendly for visitors plus it’s close to our home. And they sell the best fish of course.
