Finally a pro solution for mobile skin retouching DC July 3 2019

I’m not going to exaggerate but this is truly a game-changer.
For years I’ve been trying and hoping to find a really good mobile workflow for retouching, of course the Surface series from Microsoft are awesome but also limited in battery life and other options, a tablet like an Android or iPad pro would be great to retouch on… but it just didn’t work.

What I was looking for was an in between solution, do all your work on the mobile device and finish it at home on the right setup and able to export it to the right formats. With Lightroom CC we were almost there but it only worked for images that I shot during travel or on the street, for the modelshoots I needed a lot more… in the form of skin retouching and that simply wasn’t there.

Enter one little slider in Lightroom CC that literally changed it all.

In this video I’m showing you how you can do some pretty amazing skin retouching in Lightroom CC on the desktop, tablet or phone without doing it less than a pro plugin, in fact with the combination of sharpness, clarity and dehaze and the option to stack effects I dare to say that it’s actually a better way to retouch than using a plugin… it’s awesome.
