All over the world photographers joined organized photowalks to take pictures (of course) and meet up with other photographers, it’s an awesome project and every year I also try to organize a walk or partcipate in one.

This year we decided to do it close to home, in the beautiful Urk… but it didn’t go as planned… this is a photowalk that was pretty extreme, so join us for todays episode of behind the closed doors. Which this time were blown wide open…..

I will show you the most used light sources like the beauty dish, umbrella, reflector, strip light, a small softbox and more, but also how for example does a grid change the light. We also discuss a really handy technique for total light control by feathering the light

But without the proper understanding of shadows, light fall off, how to meter a scene etc. the video wouldn’t be complete, so we also included these topics.
