iPhone 8 and wireless charging

For me the iPhone 8 will be an exciting release. It litteraly is a moment where (for the first time) in a really long time it’s a moment of “stay with iphone” or “leave iPhone” although I already read that the mavic dji software runs best on iOS so maybe I’ll be forced into the iPhone after all. 
Any way. 

That’s not the topic. 

It’s almost a fact the new iPhone will use wireless charging. And I wonder what you’re ideas are about this. 

I for example love the universe case from otterbox. We have several accessories for it and I modified one of the batteries with a quad lock for when biking or on the road. It’s a fact that the way I use my phone I’m lucky if it reaches 15:00 during a normal working day. So charging is a major thing. (I use it a lot for video and photography). 

So although I like the idea of wireless charging I’m also worried how they are going to solve this with cases. Because a phone bare…..that’s something I don’t even want to think about. And taking a case off to charge is more work than just putting the cable in. 

Also the fact Apple is probably going to sell the charger separate takes away my enthusiasm even more. I now have cables everywhere and why would I need wireless??
