It’s always hard to think of ways to say when you think you found a soulmate so I thought let’s do it with something from a very well known Dutch standup comedian (Toon Hermans), and I’ll do it in Dutch first.

vriend

And the English translation :

Friend
You need someone
quiet and sincere
who when it comes down to it
will pray and fight for you
only if someone
laughs and cries with you
only then you can say:
“I’ve a friend

if you have someone
who shares everything with you
the table and the bed
one that never bores
if you have someone
who heals all your worries
you know what that means
you know what a difference that makes?

only if someone
laughs and cries with you
only then you may say:
“I’ve  got a friend”

I think this says it all, we travel together, we work together and we live together and still we’re not tired of each other (well I hope)…..
Annewiek have a great birthday 😀
