Some images from PSW

During PSW I taught several demos on the Expo-floor for Expoimaging, the creators of the flashbender products. All shots were done with the Sony flash system, Phottix Odin and of course the flashbenders.

Do remember that these demos are not the place to shoot great portfolio material, but I did want to share these images to show you some of the shots I make during these demos.

Can you explain what you mean by that please Frank? Not the place for you, or the other photographers there at the demo with you, or is it more about the quality of the light?

Also, if you can share what modifiers were used with what shot that would be awesome. I just got my first flashbender modifier and I’m having fun experimenting with it. Not sure if adding the diffuser to it is a good move or better to get a small softbox instead. Any thoughts much appreciated.

Well you’re shooting in a small booth, mostly teaching/entertaining the public, bad backgrounds, loads of questions and a model you never worked with before, so not the ideal situation to really take time to work something out, that’s what I meant 😀

Modifiers used where the large flashbender, the striplight and the grid.
