A new year

You know what they say….
“A new year, new chances”

Well yes we will.
This week my normal schedule will start again after a few weeks of hard needed time off were we only did the essentials, and to be honest I can’t wait to start again. I did do some commercial shoots and workshops but I really missed the more freestyle work.

This year will be an exciting one with lots of great possibilities, I’m looking forward to the Photoshop World seminars in Orlando in March, hope to meet up with a lot of photographers and have some amazing fun, and what I heard about photoshop world that should not be a problem, and of course seeing our friends from Kelby again will be a blast. But also the Pro imaging promises a lot (can’t talk about that now because it’s not 100% certain yet, but you will love it when you visit, it will be…… different and we will “kiss the sky”….. jumping ? who knows 😀 And of course don’t forget the EOS digitaal day where we will be and I will be teaching some seminars. I can confirm that one of the companies I work with OnOne will also be near our booth to show you what you can do with my shots and their software, I will shoot the images live and they will work on it.

2011 is also the year that we welcome Canon as one of our endorsers and some other brands I can’t yet say. Canon and I will be doing something with the small flash workshops (and more) this year.

We will also be using the live channel a lot more this year (and yes even with audio this time), maybe there will be some sorts of interview like segments but I have to think about that, so if you have any suggestions or ideas just blast away or mail me.

Workwise I’m full of new ideas, just hope to be able to output at least some of those this year.
On Kelbytraining there will be a lot more new videos, two are online already and from what I heard they are doing great, some more will follow.
I will also start the new SMALL FLASH workshop next month which promises to be the “missing link” in the workshops I’ve been teaching, or in other words, the workshop for people who are not willing to work with the big strobes but just with the little ones and on a budget, it promises to be fun.

As always we never know what the new year will bring, but I’m ready for it, so let’s rock !!!

Awesome Frank! I really want to attend one of your workshops! Since I live in Vegas, I usually only attend the PSW in Las Vegas. I can only hope you will be there. I already have a few people and myself who are going to make some noise to Scott Kelby to make sure you are there! Looking forward to more from your blog! Thanks for letting us know via Twitter!

Hi Frank, gelukkig nieuwjaar. I hope to see you in Minnesota if you are in the neighborhood (Just kidding) Its a few hours flying from LV anyways. But what if we could fire up a workshop here? Small flashes sounds like a great opportunity, there is a lot of interest in that. I’m teaching it once a month at our 1275+ members club. So just think about it and look us up on the map.
    Groetjes Klaas.
