The DOORhof is always open EP5

Well the FAQ about calibrations has to wait till tomorrow, but for a very good reason 😀
With pride I can present to you Episode 5 of “The DOORhof is always open”.

This time it’s all about styling, and who else to ask than Nadine Stephan, our ultra creative stylist.
Also some tips about tethering, a flash bender tip, a location photoshoot and a BTS video shot during a photoshoot with Nadine. I hope you enjoy this episode and if you have ideas for the next episode please let me know.

You can find the episode also via iTunes and of course on our YouTube channel.

My new class on Kelbytraining

Today a small blogpost about my new class on KelbyTraining.

“The art of dance”
This class is I think one of the best classes I did with big flash (there will also be a small flash class soon), in almost 2 1/2 hours you will be taking through the preparations of the shoot, two totally different shoots PLUS the Photoshop of the images. This is REALLY a complete “tour” so to speak.

The images are spectacular, the technique explained in detail and the models are great dancers, so make sure to check out the class at “Art of dance”
And here is the trailer.

The DOORhof is always open EP3

With a lot of pride I can show you the new long episode of our videopodcast “The DOORhof is always open”.
In this episode you can see a lot of tips and tricks I got from my friends and fellow instructors at Photoshop World Las Vegas 2012, in fact we had so much material it could not fit in one episode so we decided to make 2 episodes, both run well over 45 minutes so you’re in for a great ride,  If all went well you can also download it today from iTunes. Please feel free to leave some comments on YouTube or iTunes, we need some more promotion for the videopodcast of course 🙂

Today the first episode.
Expect interviews with great photographers/instructors like Scott Kelby, Lindsay Adler, Alan Hess, Brad Moore, Jay Maisel, Jim Divitale, Cliff Mautner, Dave Cross, Moose Peterson, Dave Black, Richard Harrington, Pete Collins, Matt Kloskowski, RC (spread out over both episodes).

I have to say that I’m very grateful to the following companies who made these episodes possible :
Manfrotto distribution and Cameranu.nl
