Sneller klaar met een gekalibreerde workflow gratis webinar door X-rite Coloratti en BenQ ambassadeur Frank Doorhof.

Meten is weten, dat is algemeen bekend. Dus je monitor kalibreren is belangrijk zodat je de correcte kleuren ziet. En vergeet vooral de colorchecker niet bij het fotograferen. Met de colorchecker kun je in je nabewerking makkelijk een kleurprofiel maken zodat je serie foto’s uniform van kleur zijn. Ook kun je de witbalans makkelijk aanpassen of er creatief mee worden.

Fotograaf Frank Doorhof geeft workshops model fotografie en staat bekend om zijn technische kennis van licht. Zijn motto is “Why Fake it When You Can Create it”, dus moeten de kleuren al gelijk goed zijn in de camera. Frank zal een aantal foto’s laten zien waarbij naast contrast de juiste kleuren ook heel belangrijk zijn. Hij vertelt je hoe hij de foto gemaakt heeft, waarom sommige kleuren lastig kunnen zijn en waar je zelf op moeten letten als je felle kleuren gaat fotograferen.

Ja, het kalibreren van je monitor is even werk, en moet ook regelmatig herhalen maar daarna weet je zeker dat je foto’s op jouw scherm zijn zoals je ze gemaakt hebt. En zo’n colorchecker fotograferen is een kwestie van gewenning. Leg hem naast je camera en je vergeet hem niet.

Je kunt trouwens ook je printer en je lenzen kalibreren, maar dat is een onderwerp voor een andere keer.

Deze webinar is bedoeld voor alle foto- en videografen die hun workflow efficiënter en professioneler willen maken. Van bruidsfotograaf, product fotograaf, architectuur fotograaf tot model fotograaf, je kleuren moeten correct zijn.

Frank gebruikt altijd een BenQ monitor en X-rite producten voor kalibratie.
