Trip to Vegas and some first images
We have arrived at the Mandalay bay hotel, an amazing hotel by the way.
It was a huge travel with loads of “adventures”
It started in Amsterdam, we were nicely in time but a family in front of us had problems and a junior trainee did not really tried hard to solve this, so 90 minutes later it was our turn (we hoped), there were technical problems.. add another 20 minutes… well after this there was another surprise, my name was not the same on my reservation and passport, I’ve used my calling name for many years for that account and never had a problem, so we had to run to change the tickets, arrived at the gate with 10 minutes to spare.
In Atlanta we had 2 hours to make the connecting flight “no problem, it will take 45 minutes at the most” yeah…. but not today, after a literally half marathon we arrived with 5 minutes to spare…. glad we did hot have a third flight.
We arrived in Vegas and everything went smooth, we were picked up by +Julie Ray who brought us to our hotel, thank you so much, you ROCK Jules.
Monday a cool (hot) photoshoot in Nelson and after that….. PHOTOSHOPWORLD !!! 🙂 See you there (if you’re going).
Here are some images I shot during the first night, I have to add that we were up for more than 25 hours, so my “Photographic eye” was not as it normally is 🙂 still hope you enjoy them.
Wow Frank, glad you made it. Just read an article about a guy who uses tone mapping. Hint hint hint!
Good luck
Richard

Cool pictures Frank, Las Vegas is the best place to people watch. The pyramid (Luxor) is a nice hotel too (Getting a little old tough.) Visit The Venetian too, it’s like being in Italy. (Watch the ceiling)
Wow your pictures are really awesome, what camera did you use here?Anyway,I’ve only been here thrice, but each visit never left me disappointed. My
friends and I had fun playing their nickel slots, Las Vegas is beautiful!
The normal images are all shot with the Canon 5DMKII, the model shots with the Phase One DF and Leaf digital back *AptusII 7
