During one of my twitter critique rounds my eye caught this beautiful landscape shot, the question to me was “what to improve” and although I’m not a landscape photographer so I could be wrong, I could not give one thing I would change, I love the look of this shot, the toning, the way the water was captured, the lines etc. so I had to ask Rob to write a piece for my blog, so here he is.
At Photoshop world Orlando I met up with Rick and we immediately had a good connection.
When Rick visited me in the Netherlands to have some fun with Stephanie and visit Urk he interviewed me for his podcast, if you never heard it, check it out. I also wrote a guestblog for Rick which you can find here so when I asked Rick if he would be willing to write something for my blog he send me something within a few hours, that’s quick 😀

Sometimes images just jump out to you. Sometimes I will find those images just by browsing the web, but sometimes I will also find them because someone asks me a questions, most of the times I will also quickly look at the site of that person and I also did with Martin Cormier, and as you can see for yourself I was blown away by his images, so I had to ask Martin over to the blog for a guestblog, I’m sure you will love it. I met Monicque during some of my workshops and when she told me that she would be participating in a Collodion workshop I just had to have her over as a guestblogger after that workshop to show our readers the results and tell a bit about it. But there has always been a part of me drawn back to analogue photography.
For now it was just the longing of having my own dark room where I could develop my film… So first I was looking for a used analogue camera and which film I would like to use.
