Expect at least 2 updates a week.
Landscapes
/4 Comments/in blog/by Frank DoorhofNow I never ever called myself a landscape photographer, let’s be honest… I love movement, I love people, I love street scenes, but landscapes was never really my thing. However sometimes you visit areas where you just are breathless by the beauty of the landscape, and because I did watch some of my buddy Moose Peterson’s classes on Kelbytraining I thought why not, let’s shoot some landscapes. Today a collection of my fav shots from the trip through the Scottish highlands.
Panorama mode on the Sony A99
/4 Comments/in blog/by Frank DoorhofEver since I switched to the A99 I’ve been experimenting with certain options that the A99 offers, one of the options I find interesting is the Panorama mode, now I’ve owned some cameras that create nice panoramas but not to jump up and down for, however what the A99 delivers is pretty sweat. The resolution is more than enough for large prints and the stitching in camera is very good. Today some of the panoramas I created during our UK tour.
In the Sony you can actually set the panoramas for :
Left to right
Right to left
Top to bottom
Bottom to top
Wide or standard
These were all done on the standard setting.
The resolution of a panorama is app : 8200 x 1856 pixels
