The most beautiful day

So you drive to Kampen to test a lens and you see a lot of police, roads closed etc.
What’s the first thing you think….
Yeah well that wasn’t the case.

Today it was “de mooiste dag”
Hundreds of motorbikes, loads of police (with lights and sirenes) all for one purpose…. letting people with a mental/handicap experience the day of their lives, on the back of a motor driving through the town. Loads of people waving and having fun…. that’s how it’s supposed to be.

 

Of course I changed my plans to shoot in the city and took some shots of the motors. I’m not sharing this for the quality of the shots but for the simple reason that there is so much negativity in the world and seeing this… it just makes my heart beat faster and it gave me a smile that I still have 😀 So enjoy and share some kindness today.
