No limits

We suffer the most from what we fear 

The biggest limitations are in your head

Can’t do it lies on the graveyard next to I won’t 

We all know the sayings 
And with photography they are as common as can be. If I get a dime (or even a cent) for everytime I hear that someone can’t do something because they don’t have the gear, I would be a Rich man. 
In all honesty 
Photography is painting with light 
It never states it has to be phottix, elinchrom, Hensel or whatever brand. Light is just our tool to tell stories. And let’s look at writers of course some prefer the keyboard from xxxx or an old fashioned type writer but in essence they could even tell the story at a campfire without any tools. 

As soon as you realize this the creativity starts to kick in, If everything can be used as a light source than you can also use light sources that open up totally new possibilities. Like for example this shot we did during the workshop “alternative light” that was totally shot with smartphones (also the main light). 

So the next time you take a shot always think “what can I use to make this special” and remember “the only limits are between your ears” well ok…… don’t jump off buildings…. you really need to be batman for that 😉 but you know what I mean.
