Tip : Always be ready

One of the best and actually quite logical tips you can get for street and travel photography is “always have your camera ready” 
And let’s be honest. It’s very hard to take a shot without your camera right 🙂

When we drive around I actually always have a camera very close by and properly setup. For driving situations I always use auto ISO, min shutterspeed of 250/500 and aperture is often set on 5.6 (but this can vary)

Now when I see something I can quickly take a shot. Like in the shot you see on top. We drove to our hotel in vegas and I saw the sun hitting our hotel and giving this awesome golden glow     The lady waiting to cross the road makes the image complete for me. 

One small note. NO shot is worth risking your or someone else’s life for. So always first make sure it’s safe to take the shot.
