Photokina Elinchrom
The first 2 days at Photokina I was asked to demo at the Elinchrom booth.
And that was more than just fun for the simple reason that Elinchrom had their new FS30 modifier (Fresnel) on the booth, so of course I needed to play with that one (can’t wait to get one myself).
Today on the blog some images from the Elinchrom demos.
Really nice! What lights are used in these photos?
I think is elinchrom pro hd 500 or 1000.
I really love the color tones. They have a creamy smooth feel to them, pretty cool.
Wonderful shot as always Frank, I admire your work for some time now. I switched to C1 recently as my raw engine, I don’t get the results you do but I feel like I am seeing improvements in my own results overall.
I do feel that C1 as good as it is, needs more optimization in its engine for speeding up the rendering of the images during operations (zoom, sliders, any change to the image or POV- causes the entire image to be re-rendered). This would put it way ahead of other RAW engines from competitors if they could accomplish this, I am using a new-ish macbook pro so I guess I am hamstrung to a degree in performance.
