Workshop Advanced 3 results
Earlier I already showed you some of the natural light images from this workshop, today the rest.
Due to an ongoing flu epidemic part of this workshop was done in the studio, so let’s first see those results.
And although I loved the images above my photographers heart really skipped a few beats from this outfit, combined with the hair and expression I had to literally stop myself from shooting more and more images. And I know it’s not a very extreme outfit, it’s in fact nothing like a high fashion dress or wedding dress, there is no extreme hair styling, but somehow I just love this look/outfit and Christianne worked the part perfectly…. so it goes without saying that sometimes everything just clicks (well at least for me).
And one with a special treatment on color and look (shot with the modeling light on f2.8).
To end the blogpost off, some of the outside images. I already showed the natural light images in the blogpost from the day before yesterday and today it’s time for the strobes. I used an Elinchrom Quadra with one A head for these images. I did use a reflector with grid.
What I find very important with these kind of setups is that the model makes a connection with her surroundings (in this case the staircase), without doing that somehow the images always look like a model that’s not really there, but as always that can be very personal…. 🙂

I wonder how does she look like with a little smile 🙂
Great photos as always. I LOVE natural light photography, I think I am going to concentrate on that more than flash photography for my future work 🙂
Natural light is beautiful (can be), but strobes also why choose 😀 just mix.
I love that outfit!
