We are on our way to PhotoShopWorld, so that means you will be reading some posts by me from location but also some guestbloggers, and today….. She has been featured before as a guestblogger and with great joy I can give you a new guestblog by Morgana.
After the workshops I taught in Vienna I got such nice mails that I decided to ask one of the students to write a small overview of the days. Alexander in fact wanted to come to the Netherlands for the workshops and when I announced I was coming to Vienna he decided to join me there. So here is his review of the workshops.
My name is Alexander Schwarz I am an amateur photographer from Vienna, Austria. First of all I want to thank Frank for giving me the opportunity to write some lines on his blog which always is an inspiration to me. Since English isn’t my native language I hope you will overlook some spelling or grammatical mistakes.
Today Morgana Creely is taking over my blog to entertain you guys with his guestblog, not for the faint of hearted….. just kidding…. well actually not 🙂 so enjoy.
Sometimes it all too easy to get so focused on our own style of photography that we don’t stop to think how other styles and techniques could really help. My passion is creating images that tell stories. To help me achieve some of the images I want to create, I have turned to a very different genre: Food Photography Food photography is something that we see every day but probably don’t think a lot about. Yet it definitely has a skill set all of its own. Any shot that includes food is essentially food photography, even if the intent is completely different.
While we’re filming new instructional videos for Kelbytraining the blog will be featuring some guestbloggers, today it’s time for Leo Koach with an interesting guestblog.
Thank you Frank for the opportunity here… I keep reading your blogs and your guests’ blogs but never thought I would be a part of it one day. I only hope that your readers will enjoy the show 😉
Very quick introduction: My name is Leo Koach (www.leokoach.com)… a very long time photographer who lives in Arizona. I take photos of the school kids from kindergarten to high school every day when schools are open. I also shoot in the studio for seniors and models. I had my portrait studio in NJ and AZ in the past. I have tremendous love and passion for photography and I LEARN new things every day. I believe photography is not something that will die soon. It doesn’t matter if the cameras walk around and take photos by themselves… it’s the kind of art that will live for a long long time.
First time I saw Frank’s name in a Digital Photography Challenge website forum (www.dpchallenge.com) and couldn’t stop following his blogs. He is a very talented “one light source-meter using” photographer who inspires me a lot.
In this blog, I would like to talk about “composing through the view finder”.
