In todays blog post the results from the workshop “Essential lighting techniques” with our model Rebecca.
This is the workshop where we discuss all the base elements of lighting for model photography, think about topics like making sure there is no glare in someones glasses, prevent the famous “racoon eyes”, get the right angle for each model and a lot more.

In essence we talk about the base techniques for lighting but that doesn’t mean we only shoot simple straight forward images, the cool thing about understanding the light is that you as the photographer are in total control of the light and can make your vision appear in your images, by totally understanding the base you can start being really creative, and in this workshop I always try to throw in some cool effects without making the setups too complicated. Everyone with two strobes and a soft box can do something very similar.
