Visit Kennedy Space Center and some tips
Today we visited the Kennedy Space Center in Orlando
I have to be honest…. I’m not big on themeparks, but really the Americans know how to do it, we had a blast (pun intended). As a Photographer I always shoot a lot of images, but also try to make the images slightly different, and shooting in theme parks is a huge challenge because there are always obstructions, this can be a simple barrier or loads of people in the frame. As you can see in the images in this blogpost I tried to eliminate most of these.
I mostly shot with the Sigma 12-24, a lens which I HIGHLY recommend for these kind of situations, one would say “take a longer lens and compress or zoom in on details”, but often using a wider angle makes much more sense because you can find angles that are normally not possible, like really low aiming up, BUT… you can also get much closer to your object and shooting it with less obstructions.
SORRY for the many shots, but in my defense…. it was an amazing location and selecting only a few images wouldn’t do it justice I’m afraid.
Hope you enjoy these shots.
