My PhotoshopWorld

PhotoshopWorld is about the kick off, and for me that means loads of work but oh so much fun, without any doubt PhotoshopWorld is a highlight in our year (actually 2 PSWs). So what can you expect from me at PSW, where can you find me, and what do I teach?

Today a small overview of dates, times and information.

Let me start off by saying that if you have never visited PhotoshopWorld you’re in for a life-changing experience, well ok that sounds heavy but I really mean it, I’ve done a lot of tradeshows and other kind of shows over the years and PSW really is something special, the interaction with the instructors and the people visiting is just awesome and if you don’t go home with loads of new friends and a HUGE amount of inspiration and new material you have done something very wrong.

This time PSW has something else that is really cool, all visitors will receive a full year of Adobe CC for free, plus… and I can’t say it yet but if you visit my classes you will also get something for free that is plain AWESOME from our friends from….. sorry can’t say yet, but it’s awesome 🙂

Tuesday September 3rd
The first day of PSW is pre-con day, longer workshops with smaller groups meaning a more intense experience. Last pre-con I hooked up with Moose Peterson and this time I will be joining Joe McNally, really looking forward to this day and if you’re in Joe’s group I’ll see you there.

Wednesday September 4th
Several meetings in the morning so you will probably not see me but the rest of the day I’m around.

Seminar about the importance of photography, loads of tips to get better model/travel/street shots.

Thursday September 5th
 8:15-9:15AM Photoshop/Lightroom for street and fashion photography
Loads of tips and tricks to go from ok to WOW within minutes think about :
Workflow tips with and without filters, DxO, Skin retouching, Bringing detail back in too blurred skin, cleaning backgrounds in a minute, creating your own personal look, fixing small and big problems with models, working with the colorchecker and much much more.

9:30-10:30AM Styling ideas
A very informative seminar about “where most photoshoots go wrong” learn about styling on a budget, how to create stunning photoshoots with little to no extra budget but that will have a huge impact on the end result. I strongly believe that this will be most inspirational seminar I’m teaching and will open up a lot of new opportunities for you in your own work.

Friday September 6th
9:15-9:45AM Expoimaging booth

11:00-12:00AM Live shoot, adding magic
A very dynamic and fun but most of all informative combination of presentation and live shoot on how to put the magic into a photoshoot with…. smoke. You can’t miss this one if you’re often stuck with boring backgrounds and want to spice things up to go from “oh yack, to OH WOW”, but you will also see how we transformed great location into breathtaking locations.

When I’m not teaching you can find me around the ExpoFloor area, or in the hotel itself make sure to hook up, chat and if you have your portfolio with you there is always time for a quick look and some advise, PSW is all about the interaction between the instructors and the attendees so don’t be shy, just ask and shake hands.
