Smokey glamour

Some images might be considered NSFW (Not Safe For Work) so be careful….
As you might know I shoot mostly fashion, but sometimes I also like to experiment with some glamour, like during the glamour workshop. Today a few images we shot during a very short in between session just for fun, and when we have fun…. well there might also be smoke.

Frank, these are just splendid! (And make me want to run out and get a smoke machine!!!)
And I personally don’t see why they’re NSFW – there’s many more provocative shots in the magazines in my front lobby!

I like the clear separation of the colours in the last one. I can see
barndoors, but still… did you achieve this in-camera (mostly) or did
    it require some PS?

You inspired me with your Workshop in the UK. I also watched yor seminar in the USA. Loved it.

The way you handle my remark shows how good you are! Als ik dicht bij jouw studio zou wonen zou ik zeker op sollicitatie komen als jouw stagiar!! 😉
Een vriend van mij komt iig op 27 april naar jw lezing!!

Love to know more on the type of smoke machine and liquid you are using. I have a small machine with normal and heavy smoke and can’t get these effect. The smoke does not build up nor does it stay on its location (no fans in the neighborhood)

You have to move the machine around a bit sometimes to spread out the smoke. We use different machines and different kind of smoke. The thicker smokes are better for the “figures” the thinner smoke for a mist effect.
