Photovision Roadshow day
Pffff we’re just back at the hotel from a more than fun day at the Photovision Roadshow.
We do these shows app 4 times a year and I teach a free seminar during the day and for the rest just hang out with the people there and of course meeting new people. The seminars itself are always so much fun to do, but it’s sometimes hard to cram 2 hours of seminar into one, but it somehow always works out, although it feels like a roller coaster sometimes. Also today the room was packed with people sitting on the floor just to be there, thank you so much for the reactions and the great atmosphere you guys created.
Today was a bit extra special because we decided to test out the iPhone4 and iMovie in a situation like this and see what happens….
Well to be honest it did not disappoint, people on twitter might have seen the video earlier, but not 20 minutes after I was done with the seminar and the “aftermath” of questions and fun we had this small video online. It just an impression of the day and nothing fancy to be honest I think it beats just plain images and it’s quicker, no downloading a card, downsizing the images and putting them online, nope…
We just film during the day, after we’re done just find a place were you can work for like 5 minutes and you have a video that can be uploaded to youtube and people can see it before the exhibition closed, this is fun guys, if you have an iPhone4 make sure to download iMovie. We will be using it a lot during the coming months. I openend a special youtube page for it so it will not be seen in between the videos I take a lot of extra time for, but I think these small videos will give a lot of interesting backstage views and hopefully draw you guys back to the blog for more 😀
Is there anything you want to see on it, just let me know.
Here is the video from today, and the guys at the start are my photography friends @lightroomblog from twitter and of course Mark Cleghorn from Phototraining4U.
Tomorrow it’s time for the workshop, we will also film some footage there so make sure to check in again tomorrow night.
Again feel free to comment, or share.
My thanks go out to all the great Irish people that visited the seminar today, and ……… buy that lightmeter, it really doesn’t bite 😀
Never been in photography related saminars before. Overall very good show but you were the one who stole the show. Hope to see more stuff from you soon.
Thank you so very much.
