Some news from StudioFD

I’m sitting here with a special person while I’m writing this 😀
You might wonder who……….

As you might have noticed it’s getting very busy over here at StudioFD and that means I have to let some assignments go which I would normally would love to do, so we decided it was time for some help………..

But as you might know I’m very picky about my own work so the person I would be working together with better be on the same wavelength as our team, so a normal procedure to get an employee would never work, but luckily for us everything has come together in the last few weeks. As you might remember from our livebroadcasts I’ve been working closely together with Wendy Appelman, she had been my intern for almost 6 months a while ago and both me and our clients loved working with her and after that period we always stayed in touch and Wendy often helped out during our bigger workshops and exhibitions and of course the live broadcasts. She has now finished her education and we started to talk about what she would be doing in the future…… you know those conversations were you both go the same direction ? Well this was such a talk….

So to make a very long story shorter.
Studio FD has a new photographer in the person of Wendy Appelman.

So why Wendy ?
Wendy’s photographic style although very different from mine has many similarities and is without a doubt creative and well thought out, and I’m more than anxious to see what the future will bring in our collaborations.

What will Wendy do ?
For the moment Wendy will be in charge of our “model for a day” sessions, see our new site at www.jouwfotoshoot.nl
But she will also start exploring new possibilities for our studio and clients and of course assist me 😀
