Reviews on gear and software
As you can read in the previous posts the last few days have been spend on the Professional Imaging.
During those days I taught several workshops on the Elinchrom booth and during those workshops (and the rest of the day) I used the new Leaf Aptus12 digital back, read in this blog post a few things about the shots and also a small review on this remarkable back.
A lot of people ask me about those little things that really are necessary to own.
If you look at the gear guide on this page you can already see some of the items I will mention in this thread. But I think it’s interesting to also do a small blog post about some of the items that will save your session, or add some amazing creative options…..
So here we go.
Normally I try to keep to photographic gear, but this is one piece of hardware I really have to review on the blog.
We all do need a projector sometimes, being it for a seminar, workshop or just showing people your work.
If you go to a location were there already is a projector a lot of photographers decide to just use that projector, but trust me in most cases this is not the smart thing to do. In most locations the projectors are very bad, sometimes you can solve this if the owner is willing to hand you the remote, in this review I will give you some tips and also do a small review on a special projector I think you really should have/use.
This is the review I wrote about the Mamiya RZ67ProII back in 2008.
Remember this was before Mamiya decided to bring it back to live with the digital back, so now this review is very actual.
And to be honest (and you will understand when you read the review) it’s great Mamiya is bringing this great camera back.
