Sheena workshop shots

On January 5th Sheena was our model for a 1:1 workshop.
For this workshop we started out outside for some setups were the idea was to create a moody shot by lowering the available light.

An Elinchrom quadra was used as an accent light and the Elinchrom Ranger RX with the Maxispot as mainlight source in the first setup. For the second setup (between te trees) we used the setup in reverse.
Clothing wise we couldn’t do that much because it was literally freezing outside, and in all honesty I love an icequeen but somehow Sheena was not prepared to do a bikini shoot in the snow (just kidding of course she would have done it if I asked).

After the cold of the outside the workshop was moved back into the warm studio.
Because it was the last workshop in a series for this student we played around a bit with different setups and ended up with an almost glamour setup. The main advantage of the 1:1 workshops is that we can custom make the workshops to fit exactly what the students want to learn and the style they want to shoot it in. For me this is also nice because I’m often doing stuff I normally wouldn’t shoot myself that quickly.

In this post you find my personal favorite shots of this day and a small backstage video from the outside part of the workshop.
