Speedup Adobe premiere a lot DC protips

In todays tip something we all struggle with, how to speed up Adobe Premiere on the time line (A lot). In fact it’s a problem I experience with almost every intern we get that edits video, a slower laptop and 4K is almost unworkable, let alone drone H265 footage (and that’s only the consumer stuff).

So how do we speed it up?
Well we just use a simple setting available inside of premiere. So let’s dive in the world of Proxy media.
