Today we take you behind the closed DOORs during Fotofest in Schokland, a 2 day event with Dutch and international speakers. This year was the first time it was organized in honor of the 25th jubileum of a good friend/photographer of us Pim van der Maden, but the idea is to bring the event back every year..

The location is of course breathtaking and probably one of the most beautiful spots in our area (Unesco heritage).

We show you what we bring, what can go wrong (and actually did go wrong) and how to solve this.

And in the end we take you with us during the judging of the competition.

In todays episode we take you behind the scenes during the workshop “smoke and props”

You will see the amazing outfits from Ingrid, the setups and of course the end results. We also shoot a set with the Lume Cube and my iPhone, and we calibrate the monitors.

After the workshop I have to prepare a seminar for next Sunday and you can see the end result and topics way before the others 😀
