One of the things I love to do when visiting cities or other countries is visit one of their local markets.
The people are always interesting and the combination of building and goods/foods are always a big source of inspiration to shoot some images.

A good tip I always give to people traveling and wanting to shoot interesting shots is to find the train station.
Not only can you often get some cool shots from the traveling crowd but if you’re lucky you can also find some old trains standing close by.

We normally don’t really go for the touristy stuff but…. this time we did make an exception and visited the Viking market.

The problem for me is that I don’t want the “touristy” images with people in the shot, I would love to shoot it more “film like” and that often means having to wait… wait… wait and wait (or give up).
But in the end I think I got some cool shots.
