Glamour images Suzanna

Every once in a while we do testsessions to find new models, mostly for the fashion workshops but sometimes also for the glamour workshops, this time I would like to introduce Suzanna. You will be seeing a lot of images from her in the future I think.

In some countries the images might be considered NSFW (Not Safe For Work).

    Hello Frank,
Your photos and model (Suzanna) are stunning! I also appreciate how you share several different styles of photography within a short blog. I have a question which I feel could be of sensitive nature but by not asking I’ll never learn how to best approach this. In the case above, I was studying the photos in detail, my mind wondered about Suzanna’s ethic background, her facial bone structure are what caught my eyes. So the question: Is it okay in open forum to ask about model’s ethic background? I know that make-up, lighting, perspective angle, post processing, etc, has a part into the photos but I notice models do provide physical details about themselves to secure a job. Your advice would be helpful and I complete understand if we take this offline. Thank you.

It’s pretty much easy to picture a stunning face with a stunning body… lights and stuff? oh yeah, they are good too but I wasn’t paying much attention to them 😉

Hey Frank I love your photography and I’m a true admirer of your work so Frank here is the 1, 000, 000 dollar question. The type of photography you do involves some type of nude or imply photography I also know your wife works with you but to those that don’t get to work with the other half doing this type of shoot… how do you deal with this subject matter with your other half ? As you get to do a test shoot and trying a new model for upcoming events or just to try a new lighting …I’m just wondering how you would go about it ? This is a subject I talk with other photographers but I would like to get your input on this one. 🙂

Actually I hardly do any nudes or implied, most of what I do is fashion, but we’ve been doing some testshoots for the glamour workshops lately so that’s why you see a bit more of that work.

How does one work with this with their better half…?
Well as soon as you ask that question I think the mindset is already wrong, there is absolutely nothing wrong with lingerie or glamour as long as you shoot it for the images and not for “something else”.

Annewiek is on set most of the time, as is an assistant, often a stylist and MUA and of course students etc. there is absolutely no different mood than with a fashion shoot 😀
