HDR and light painted heaven

During our stay in Odessa our good friend Kathy arranged this amazing cabin for us to relax in and spend some time with the local strobist group. Of course I needed to do some shoots from the property which in my opinion is awesome. The shots you see here are a mix of HDR and my very first (ever) experiment with light painting, and man did I loved doing it, it’s like getting a christmas present, you never know what you’re exactly getting. So enjoy the images.

Hi Frank, I would imagine the locals would never consider photographing their hut as to them there’s nothing of interest to it. You see & here this offen. Your friends over at kelby are offen commenting on how drab the area to which they reside is. Where you on your travels there take some great local scenes. to the rest of the world its interesting and unusual. Hence when i visit your homeland i just have to photograph windmills. I’ve yet to see one in your porto as to you i’m guessing there on no interest. Keep up the great work. looking forward to the book release.

It’s always about “what’s further away is better” 😀
I always try to push people to see their own area with “photographers” eyes, actually there is a piece on that in the book also 😀
