3 different looks

Today 3 different looks from the same setup.
Shot during a session with Nadine. The videos will be released in the coming weeks.
The first setup was done with the Elinchrom 1.50mtr indirect Octa, without any doubt one of my favorite modifiers for fashion.

Nadine Februari 15 2185-Edit

Nadine Februari 15 2192-EditI love the nice crisp contrast from the 1.50 indirect Octa and as you can see it gives a really pleasing shadow on the background.

Nadine Februari 15 2203-Edit For this shot I used the Elinchrom Beauty Dish with a silver deflector.
This is also a look I really like, it gives a bit more “bite” and the shadows are a bit harsher, but as you can see it also adds a nice vignette around the scene.

Nadine Februari 15 2256-Edit And finally the same Elinchrom beauty dish but now with a grid.
Now the attention of the viewer is really drawn to the model and the vignette is much more obvious.

Hi Frank, Is there a reason you selected such a busy background? The lighting is fantastic and instructive, yet the background distracts me from the model and her apparel.

I love that background for this.
It’s always a personal taste selection of course, for me it works together, if you would select seamless the image “for me” would be boring.

I like the beauty dish with no grid just because that is a magnificent dress and i want to see all the color and texture.in it.
