\nSo when I started with my first band my JCM-800 combo was not enough.
\nSo I bought a second hand Marshall cab at Big One in Zwolle.<\/p>\n
And yeah I traded that JCM-800 for a 90001 tube pre-amp and 8008 Valvestate.
\nI sometimes wish I could go back in time.<\/p>\n
I always kept that Marshall cab.
\nAnd when it was time to build a home studio I got it back from the attic and installed it in a hush box.
\nThe thing I did notice was how insanely better the cab sounded compared to another Marshall cab I bought (to save my own).
\nSo I opened it up, and that made it pretty clear \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n

Nice speakers do a lot.
\nEver since it’s been in a hush box with a selection of mics.
\nBut recently I bought the Slate digital SL-2 and that is now my main mic. Often using a blend of the SM57 and R121 emulation.<\/p>\n
But before we build it into the hush box I did use it a few times as a prop during photoshoots.
\nIt’s a nicer way to show the front of the cab \ud83d\ude00
