Tip : using materials

Styling is in my opinion a major part of every photoshoot.
But how do you style?
What do you use?
Is it expensive?

Well in all honesty, you can make it as difficult or as expensive if you want, the sky is the limit so to say. In my opinion however it shouldn’t always cost a lot of money, often the smallest things can make a huge difference. Take for example the following shot.
Believe it or not but this was shot during a tradeshow demo at professional imaging this year. With Nadine as my stylist you can always expect some cool things. In this case she used plastic that she worked on with a torch to create this crazy effect. To photograph something like this is a delight, it’s really an eye catcher due to the reflection, the shapes etc. And it’s relatively easy to do as you could have seen on stage, where Nadine actually did this live.

So the next time you’re doing a shoot… don’t just shoot the model in pretty clothes and a cool backdrop, but really try to push the envelope and push yourself to the limit by being creative.

Feel free to post your crazy stuff down below.
Looking forward to seeing it.
